History of arts.works

‘I have dedicated three decades to enhancing the lives of others through music and believe passionately that the Arts have unique properties for transforming environments.’ Susan Digby Eatwell OBE, CEO of arts.works

Susan Digby formed ‘Singing.Works’ in 1998. This was triggered by a request from the CEO of a top company who was impressed with the remarkable results and ethos of the Voices Foundation, now the UK’s leading music education charity, founded by Lord Menuhin, Susan Digby and Sir Ronald Grierson. He wished to import these training techniques and philosophy into his company via a series of Susan’s workshops.

Building on the success of this, other companies came on board, with 100% repeat business.

There has been a burgeoning of interest in the corporate world in arts based training and agencies have indicated a need for a ‘one stop shop’ of high quality. The partnership with Fiona Cunningham, co-founder and Managing Director of arts.works has enabled this to take shape. The practitioners who have joined arts.works from different artistic disciplines were hand-picked by Susan Digby for excellence in their respective fields, and their ability to lead, learn and inspire.
