Sue Hollingworth

In 1990 Susan was awarded the prestigious Churchill Scholarship for her work with choirs. A graduate of the Royal Northern School of Music, she divides her time between being a choral conductor and music educator.  

Susan is Musical Director of the adult Sine Nomine International Touring Choir and is conductor of the Grimsby Philharmonic choir.  

She has been Musical Director of the award-winning Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir for 21 years, and has conducted this choir all over the world including at the Sydney Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall.  

Five times finalist in Sainsbury’s choir of the year, The Scunthorpe Choir has also sung at the opening on the Millenium Dome, The Sydney Olympics and Notre Dame, and features regularly on radio and television.  

Susan is Director of the National Youth Choir of Scotland Training Choir, Project Director of the Voices Foundation and Music Advisor to North Lincolnshire.
