Susan Digby Eatwell OBE
Susan Digby Eatwell read music at King’s College, London, and studied piano and singing. In 1990 she was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship, enabling her to study worldwide methods of choral training and music education.
In 1993, Susan founded The Voices Foundation, a leading national music charity, which has made significant and lasting impact on the ethos of schools across the UK and abroad. In 2007 she was awarded the OBE for her services to music education.
Susan’s conducting work has seen her perform in many notable venues including the Royal Albert Hall, St John’s Smith Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields and for state occasions, including the National Holocaust Memorial Day, live on BBC2.
Susan is an experienced broadcaster in radio and television both in the UK and abroad and frequently gives workshops and lectures internationally on the wider benefits of singing and music and the mind.
With her previous training company Singing.Works, (the precedent for arts.works) corporate clients included BP (UK and Columbia), Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Allen & Overy, Firmenich, Swedbank and Lovells.
Susan is the CEO of arts.works.
