Tim Sutton

Tim Sutton is one of the UK’s most exciting composers, arrangers and musical directors, working in both in the UK and abroad.

He has written music for ‘As You Desire Me’ with Kristin Scott Thomas and Bob Hoskins (Playhouse), ‘Knight of the Burning Pestle’ (Barbican), and ‘As You Like It’ (Wyndham’s), starring Sienna Miller and Helen McCrory, The Skin of Our Teeth (Young Vic) and Cinderella (Northampton Royal Theatre), among many others.  

Tim is the Musical Director of Music Theatre 4 Youth and the Children’s Classical Chorus, a Musical Director and Composer for Youth Music Theatre: UK and Guest Conductor of Voce Chamber Choir. His choral work is published by Novello Ltd.  

Tim has been Musical Director for acclaimed productions such as The Mysteries of Harris Burdick (Arts Theatre London and Frederick Loewe Theatre New York), Marat/Sade (Royal National Theatre) and Hymn to Love (BBC Radio 3).  

As a pianist Tim has played for artists including Kiri Te Kanawa, Lesley Garrett and Ruthie Henshall.
